Whether in a professional kitchen, a gourmet shop, or a small workshop, these machines offer multiple benefits that directly improve profitability and product presentation.

Maximum performance in minimal space

Countertop vacuum packaging machines are the perfect option for those who need professional results in limited spaces. Their compact design makes them an essential tool for food, hospitality, and retail businesses looking to improve product preservation, streamline processes, and reduce costs.

Countertop vacuum packers are a scalable solution: they allow frequent packaging cycles with consistent results, without the need to invest in large-scale machinery or special installations. They’re perfect for butcher shops, delicatessens, gourmet stores, restaurants, or food trucks that handle moderate volumes but require professional-quality sealing every time.

Our equipment is backed by a specialized technical service and spare parts available even years after manufacturing. In addition, many models include automatic maintenance programs to extend the vacuum pump’s service life. This reduces downtime, prevents unexpected costs, and ensures consistent, safe operation.

Sustainability is a priority at Zermat. Our vacuum packers are built to be energy-efficient, which not only reduces your carbon footprint but also helps you save on energy costs. By choosing Zermat, you’re not only taking care of your food, but also the environment.

Vacuum packaging improves product preservation by removing oxygen, extending shelf life and reducing spoilage. Less waste means higher profitability, and with a good packaging strategy you can optimize inventory, plan purchases more effectively, and make the most of every raw material.

Made from high-quality stainless steel, countertop vacuum packers feature smooth, durable surfaces that are easy to clean. In more advanced models, one-piece construction and rounded edges further enhance hygiene, making disinfection easier and helping meet food safety regulations. Frequently asked questions about tabletop vacuum sealers

How to choose a tabletop vacuum sealer?

To choose the right vacuum sealer, it’s essential to consider the type of products you’ll be packaging, how often you’ll use it, and your work environment. If you work with delicate products, liquids, or high-value foods, it’s advisable to opt for a model with sensor control and a Softair option. For more basic and occasional use, a model with time-based programming may suffice. It’s also crucial to check the pump quality, vacuum capacity, available programs, and how easy the machine is to clean.

Unlike external or industrial vacuum sealers, tabletop machines combine a compact size with professional performance. They are designed to be placed on work surfaces without requiring special installation, yet they achieve very high vacuum levels. Furthermore, they typically feature internal chambers that allow for a more uniform and secure seal, and accessories that enhance their versatility.

The power of a benchtop vacuum sealer is directly related to the capacity of its vacuum pump, typically measured in cubic meters per hour (m³/h). For professional use in small to medium-sized businesses, it is recommended that the equipment have a pump with a minimum capacity of 8 to 20 m³/h. This power ensures fast cycles, efficient air extraction, and a consistent seal even during continuous operation.

Models with high-performance pumps, such as those from BUSCH, offer greater durability, reduced maintenance requirements, and a higher capacity to achieve vacuum levels approaching 99.8%. The higher the power, the faster the cycle time, improving hourly output and reducing production downtime.

If the daily packaging volume is low, a simpler pump will suffice; however, if speed, precision, and reliability are required, especially in demanding environments, it is preferable to opt for models with a powerful pump and industrial-grade components.

Each range is designed for a specific application profile:

  • JazzVac: This is the simple and robust line, ideal for small businesses looking for an economical yet effective countertop vacuum sealer. The vacuum and sealing levels are controlled by time (seconds) and feature an analog vacuum gauge (indicator of the vacuum level achieved in the chamber). All JazzVac models include a vacuum marinating program as standard.
  • BluesVac: This is the high-performance line. It offers greater precision and control, integrating advanced functions such as sensor-based vacuum control, additional time, and programmable settings, making it ideal for professional kitchens, food businesses, the pharmaceutical industry, and delicate products. All BluesVac models include a vacuum marinating program as standard.
  • RockVac: This is the most innovative line. It combines the same power and performance as the BluesVac series but with a more attractive design, perfect for high-performance environments and where the machine is visible to customers, such as in designer boutiques and open kitchens. All models in the RockVac series include a vacuum marinating program as standard.

Sensor control ensures greater precision in packaging. It automatically adjusts the vacuum level according to the type of product. This is crucial to prevent damage to delicate foods and ensure consistent packaging quality. On the other hand, time-based programming, used in models like the JazzVac range, is sufficient for more basic and occasional use, always reaching the maximum and adjustable vacuum levels.

Yes, several models in the SMALL series are designed with internal chambers prepared for liquid packaging, expanding their versatility. Furthermore, for packaging delicate products or high-value liquids, it is recommended to choose models that incorporate sensor-controlled vacuum and the Softair option. The BluesVac and RockVac series offer the optional liquid boil-over sensor, which automatically interrupts the vacuum when boiling is detected in the liquid being packaged.

Power is related to the vacuum pump’s capacity, measured in cubic meters per hour (m³/h), or suction flow rate. For professional use in small to medium-sized businesses, we recommend equipment with a pump capacity of 8 to 21 m³/h. The high-performance pumps incorporated in our equipment offer greater durability, fast cycle times, and the ability to achieve high vacuum levels (99.9%).

Yes, in models from the BluesVac or RockVac range, it’s possible to add advanced features such as gas injection as an option. This expands the possibilities for use in sectors such as food, retail, and laboratories. The gas function is used for modified atmosphere packaging, allowing for maximum vacuum in the bag followed by compensation with inert gas to prevent product crushing. Different gas mixtures and percentages can be used; consult our gas packaging guide for more information.

The “+” designation indicates that the model offers a slightly larger chamber than the standard version (e.g., JazzVac 42 or RockVac 42). This extra capacity allows for larger bags and a greater volume of product in each packaging cycle. For example, the BluesVac 42+ can package bags up to 400 x 600 mm, and even when equipped with a double sealing bar, it maintains the same chamber clearance as the BluesVac 42 model with a single sealing bar.
