Both types of machines use the same technology to make the vacuum and to inject gas when necessary. Despite the sealing / cutting, the packages that are used and the final result are different.
One equipment is specific for the packaging in BAG and the other is for the packaging in TRAY.
The advantages of a vacuum packaging machine with bags are: reliability of the investment, adaptation to any dimension of the product, cooking and vacuum cooking, large storage capacity of raw materials, costs of adjusted bags, etc.
The advantages of a tray sealing machine are: the product to be packed does not cake, very attractive presence of the package, cleaner and delicate handling of the food and possibility of gas injection to improve the appearance of the product (example: red meats).
