Standard sealing
Sealing systems to be installed on Zermat Vacuum packaging machines
In the SMALL and LARGE range of packaging machines, the standard sealing system is a double sealing of the bag with 3mm sealing wire.
In the MEDIUM, MEDIUM + and EXTRALARGE ranges models, the standard sealing is with a double convex wire for maximum rigidity. 5-6mm. sealing width.
The result is a simple sealing with double marking of the bag.
This system allows the easily tear off the residual plastic bag in the same seal process.
The result is the simple sealed bag without residual plastic from the seal to the mouth of the bag.
This system allows the same application as the before one, with the advantage that with Cut-off seal is the possibility to adjust the time settings of the seal and cutting wire separately.
Interesting application for large bags and material thickness. This sealing system makes a seal of 8mm. in the bag.
Sealing system for high thickness bags and bags with lateral bellows; also suitable for pasteurization or sterilization materials. In this case, the machine incorporates upper and lower sealing bars. The width of the sealing wire is 6mm. The marking on the bag is 7-8mm.

Which is the most suitable sealing system?
The standard sealing system is the most suitable for all kind of bags.
Seal and cut (disconnectable or not) ideal when bags should be shrinked.
Extra wide seal: ideal for the packaging of large packages or heavy pieces.
Bi-Active seal: perfect for the packaging of pharmaceutical products or such that must be sterilized - pasteurize in autoclave system.

Sealing maintenance
The sealing system requires minimal maintenance.
It is necessary to maintain the Teflon protective tape that is in contact with the sealing resistances.
The seal bars are removable without tools.
It is important to check and maintain the sealing systems in perfect condition, after the vacuum quality, it is the most important point that a good vacuum packaging machine must meet.
